A global career built on voice, story, and connection

I’ve always believed that the human voice is the most powerful instrument we have. It tells stories, shapes emotion, and bridges cultures.

I’m Dianne Weller, an actor, voice artist, and coach, originally from Australia and now working globally between Brussels and Sydney. For over 25 years, I’ve built a career across film, television, theatre, and voiceover, collaborating with international teams to bring characters and stories to life.

I’ve performed everything from contemporary drama to musical theatre, opera, and experimental performance — in venues from the London Palladium to the Sydney Opera House.

Acting keeps me grounded. It reminds me that every story — no matter how big or small — deserves honesty, curiosity, and care.

Voice has always been at the centre of what I do —
whether performing, directing, or teaching.

My voice has featured in commercials, documentaries, audiobooks, video games, museum guides, and award-winning radio dramas including I, Robot and Dan Dare for BBC Radio 4, both of which received New York Radio Gold Awards.

In 2021, I was honoured to receive the Society of Voice Arts Award (New York) for Best Performance in a VR Game.

After studying Performance at Theatre Nepean (University of Western Sydney), I began my acting career in Australia with early roles in Flirting and Water Rats.

That path led me to the UK and Europe, where I’ve spent two decades performing in film, television, radio drama, theatre, and contemporary art projects — from BBC productions and Disney series to Belgian theatre festivals and VR games.

I’ve been lucky enough to work on productions like:

  • Professor T (PBS/ITV)
  • The Missing II (BBC/ABC America)
  • Total Control (ABC Australia)
  • Find Me in Paris (Disney/Hulu)
  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood and Hubris VR

…and with clients such as Mercedes, Eurostar, Miele, Chanel, Google, and WWF.

Teaching, Coaching, and Mentoring

Coaching feels like the natural extension of everything I’ve learned — helping others find their own sound, confidence, and creative truth.

I coach performers and professionals in public speaking, presentation, and voice across Europe and Australia. I’ve taught at La Cambre, KASK, and the DAE Video Game School in Europe, and ScreenWise and AFTRS in Australia.

In 2022, I was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by Western Sydney University for my contribution to performance and voice.
